Caption Contest!

Posted on Tuesday 1 May 2007

I went into Houston yesterday to take some shots in Memorial Park… and I came across these guys:

Houston Traffic Jam

Many, many captions and titles went through my mind when I saw them — most of them funny — and for now, I’ve decided to call this “Houston Traffic Jam”.

Let’s see what y’all can come up with…

    “It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s……”

Your pictures are really, really great.

    CLG — hahahahaha!

I have another: “When will that stupid photographer be done already? My neck’s starting to hurt!”

A quagmire of turtles. Family guy users will appreciate that.

“Houston Traffic Jam”, indeed. You crack me up.

How about “We look both ways before crossing the street” - I can see that on a billboard as a PSA.

Wonderful shot, btw. The pastel-ish effect on the sky (or is that water) sorta focuses you on the turtles (that, along with all the turtles.)

Ok, I’m not that amusing today, but how ’bout …

    Pile Up on Pond Road

    Alternatively …

Is that your head up my butt or are you just glad to see me?

It’s the Bush administration: They follow the leader, they haven’t changed much in the last million years, they are slow to react to anything except dager to themselves, at first sign of which they close up till the dager is past. Oh, and they are not that smart.

Pan! I wondered if somebody would say that! Too funny…

Is it also the turtle that keeps going in the same direction no matter what?
