A centrist parenting blog?

Posted on Wednesday 15 November 2006

Early yesterday, folks I’d never seen before started showing up at Polimom. (Sometimes, that’s a good thing, and sometimes not…) Curious, I ran the referring link and ended up here:

Nominations for The 2006 Weblog Awards are now open. The Weblog Awards is the world’s largest blog competition, with over 1 million votes cast in the last three years for nearly 1,000 blogs.

I haven’t the foggiest idea how these things work, to tell you the truth, but I was shocked flattered to find Polimom nominated in a couple of categories: Best Parenting Blog and Best Centrist Blog. (Thanks, Jon and GTL.) Evidently, we’re all supposed to go and nominate the blogs we like in various categories, and then the blog-award-gods sort it all out (?).

Go poke around and check out some you might not otherwise have encountered — and of course feel free to nominate Polimom, or any other blog you like.

Kinda like I did.

Hurray for you, Poli! Of course I’ll take a look! Bravo! Well deserved.
