Note I didn't say "failed to" - it was a deliberate decision, based on my supreme annoyance with the GOP (for the fact that Delay wouldn't get out of the race) and the Democrats (for the fact that their party platform basically consists of "we are not the GOP"), and the fact that in the primaries it is all party-based (and where I live there weren't any other issues of note on the ballot.)
