Light B-day posting

Posted on Saturday 15 April 2006

There are two posts this morning about Iran; one here (below), and one at Polimom, Too. Barring some unforeseen cataclysmic event, though, I’m done with heavy thoughts til tomorrow.

Today, Polimom turns [mumble-mumble] years old, and AC has planned a party, complete with guests and party favors… and I’m off to gorge myself on cake and ice-cream!

(Sometimes, it’s really fun being a mom!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YA! (ever heard this version? - too bad you can’t heard me singing - on the other hand, NOT!)

Thanks for the good wishes! Ashley, if gas prices go as high as people are talking about, I’ll be collecting on a horse (…. or…. )

Ended up a riotous little party, probably because I declared my house to be the “Fountain of Youth” early in the day - thus giving everyone license to regress.

There are very few things more entertaining than a couple of 9-year-olds playing leap frog with a couple of decidedly “middle-aged” men back and forth across the yard, as they try to avoid the dog (not to mention said dog’s “little presents” in the grass)

Why is Polimom up so early the day after her birthday! Sleep late Polimom, I’m sure you have earned it.

    Happy Birthday.
