					<description>There are many places, unfortunately, where personal responsibility has gone by the wayside.  Somewhere along the line, people have gotten into the habit of thinking that all problems can be fixed... by somebody else....  if we just tinker with it enough.</description>

I mean, rather than saying 'OK there are men out there who are dangerous, here is a self-defence course that will enable you to circulate in full confidence'; this type of advice says 'you can't do anything about the nasty world, hide in your house and live in fear'...</description>
