You're right - that is ethics in action.  It is also only step one.  

I'm pleased that they've called it out in terms of the loss of life/property canon, because it shows they're on the right track.</description>

					<description>You would be interested in the letter posted today from ASCE's Engineering Review Panel to the Corps.  www.asce.org.  The letter calls for several specific reviews to assure that citizens will be safe and will be assured they are safe.  This is engineering ethics in action.
