But our dance card is already full

I’m pretty sure everybody can see where “we” are going next:

Rumsfeld: Iran Regime Sponsors Terrorism

The only question in my mind is who’s going to the ball with us this time:

IAEA to Report Iran to Security Council

VIENNA, Austria - The U.N. nuclear watchdog on Saturday reported Iran to the U.N. Security Council in a resolution expressing concern Tehran’s nuclear program may not be “exclusively for peaceful purposes.” Iran said it would retaliate immediately.

Polimom’s unimpressed in the extreme by militant Islam, but the U.S. can’t afford another half-trillion dollars. If “we” are going down this road without the rest of the West, we’re going to destroy ourselves economically… and hurricane season is coming. Again.

A little domestic:foreign balance would seem to be in order here.

My own immediate short answer to rumblings about first Syria and now Iran is: yeah, you and whose army?

Wouldn’t any rational Iranian leader want nuclear capabilities? Look at the other two members of the “axis of evil,” the one with nuclear capability laughs at the U.S., the other one gets invaded.

I think that it’s all sabre rattling rattling for the mid-term elections anyway. Then again, I thought, or hoped, that about Iraq.
